If you make just $0.05 a month on monthly call premiums over twelve months on a $4.25 stock, then that's a more than 14% return over the year. That's pretty good in my book. A 14% return sounds pretty good to me for covered calls.

If you'd like higher call premiums, by relaxing one of my proprietary screening parameters slightly, I also got Cernovus Energy (CVE). That's going to have much higher call premiums, but you can decide for yourself if you want to be writing covered calls on oil & gas stocks at this point in time.
