Between the Chainlink ICO in September 2017, and Sergey's EOY 2017 blog post, there was literally zero communication from the team. Zero. Not an update, not a tweet, not a newsletter, nothing.
This was at a time when companies like VeChain were constantly pandering to their bagholders with weekly "community updates" and roadmaps. It was extremely unusual for a crypto company to go completely radio silent like this.
Back then literally the only information we had to go on, was a poster who used the name CryptoTakeOff and always used pic related as their image. They would give a wekly update on /biz/ about literally any bit of "news" that had leaked out, which was often nothing more than a couple of major wallet movements.
Again, to reiterate how unusual this was at the time, every other project was doing a huge show to try and get retail attention.

Newfags buying at the bargain price of $10 will never understand how absolutely schizo you had to be to hold LINK from ICO.

I hope cryptotakeoff bought back in.

I miss CryptoTakeoff. She really got us through LINK's darkest times. I hope she bought back in and is doing well.
