What are some good assets (especially individual stocks) to invest in, assuming that my main goal is to steer clear of the asset classes favored by the unwashed masses, e.g. crypto and meme stocks (Tesla, GameStop, etc.)? No offense intended to anyone, BTW.

Has anyone here gotten fired from an office job?

I'm doing the bare minimum right now, if that.
And I'm a little worried that I'll be let go.

The thing is that it seems to be so rare that it isn't worth worrying about, am i wrong?

I was able to accumulate 1200 towards the end of 2020 but now it's 2 high 4 me, same with ETH. 100 linkies at this point would be a large chunk of my monthly paycheque - should I still do it?

Will this time lag happen again with altcoins?

I've seen a few idiots misread the news and believe that SEC is the one making the announcement of any upcoming legal action, but in fact its Ripple's CEO claiming that it will happen.
My question is: why is he claiming it will?
