fortunately i deal exclusively with rich clients who have investments with us and direct them to the wait at the teller line or see a banker.

sp500 just hit a 9 TD sell sequential a few days ago.daily rsi is looking looking to correct and shows bearish divergence. we also hit 618 fibonacci major resistance.

on the fundamentals. earnings keep looking like absolute shit on every front. real unemployment is going to sink it as buying into this suckers rally looks to be getting exhausted.

finance will teach you all things of what financial instruments are...

economics will teach you WHY they move up and down. you will understand how the world works from a new perspective.

if you want a job in finance, study economics...

you will learn everything you need to know on the job. i.e studying for the series 7

studying finance is a waste of time as it is a moving target with things always changing... take crypt for example a brand new asset class...if you studied finance 30 years ago you woudn't know anything about the ETFs and anything about all the types of derivatives we have now...

unironically i've been a FiNANCIAL advisor since i got out college (not larping) and the money is pretty good if you're also good at sales.
