Paperwork and fat ladies sitting in offices pretending to do work accounts for 75%+ of the cost of doing business in the industry. Factor in another 5-10% for office space and infrastructure. That will be completely eliminated for shipping. Profits will go from 5-8% gross to 80% overnight. Hundreds of millions of dollars annually for even the middle tier <top25 carriers, billions for the top 7 or so.

Commodities and other financials/derivatives are near the same,Agents, Sales, Accounting, Lawyers, Finance, the management to oversee these departments. Replaced instantly by Smartcontracts.
