AQB has several competitive advantages when compared to traditional ways of obtaining salmon, gods fish. Firstly, they are AquAdvantage fish and grow faster with less food due to a gene being altered. Secondly, they use RAF farming to produce they salmon where they are in demand, saving on air freight cost.

You can not farm salmon in the US, they are endangered. It costs a lot of money to airfreight salmon for places like Norway to the us. AQB can produce fish anywhere and not have to price in a large transportation fee giving them a completive advantage
