The audio is from a SWIFT webinar that was held 11 July 2019. As I remember it, it was really early in the morning, like 8am here in Europe. I had to download a dumb fucking app for this webinar and for some reason the audio came from a literal phone call on my phone while I could watch on my PC, kek at IT boomers. Well, after an hour of interesting talk about APIs, ISO 20022 and the good old SWIFT buzzwords there was finally a Q&A session. I remember how you could write questions yourself but not read the ones by other viewers and my question was unironically asked first. Of course I asked if Chainlink was being used to transfer the GPI data to the DLT and vice versa and we got a nice crumb answer. The real gains are unironically these memories we made along the way.

Lets do some basic statistics: The expected value of holding Chainlink

First we assign some conservative % estimate for the likelihood that gpi link = chainlink, lets calls this pGPI.
VERY conservatively, pGPI = 10%

In this scenario, LINK will certainly exceed BTCs ATH, lets say it will reach $1000.00 per LINK for a total market cap of ~400 bill assuming 50mil more tokens are released in the medium term

In the scenario that gpi link is not chainlink, lets say LINK stagnates at around $1.00 for the rest of its existence (very conservative estimate).
If we get the expected value for these two distinct events, we have 0.1*1000 + 0.9*1.00 = ~$101 per LINK


TLDR: The expected value of Chainlink, given that there is a 10% chance that GPI Link = chainlink, is $101 American dollars per LINK token
