I guess the basic reasoning behind this was so the maximum of people could profit from this offer and thus for costco to gain the max visibility possible from this move.

But then other questions start to come in mind, because surely $4K in gold is already a pretty big purchase to most. So were the costco execs fearing some whales would dive in?
Was it from untold regulations they had to comply with?
Was it by fear of melaninated people maxxing out their credit cards or taking mini-credits from costco and burying the gold to then declare personal bankruptcy?
So many questions, so few ounces in my pockets.

>Main article: Northern Railway of Guatemala
>In 1889, the government of General Barillas established a contract with Henry Louis Félix Cottu, of Paris, France for the construction of the northern railway with the following conditions:

>Cottu took out at 80% net gold a loan that the Government of Guatemala would issue worth $21,312,500 gold, equivalent to 106,562,500 francs in bonds of $20.00 gold or 100 francs each; which would accrue interest at 6% per year and would be amortized over a period of 45 years at a rate of 0.5% per year.17 The liquid proceeds of the loan - equivalent to $17,050,000 gold - were to be invested

mhmm, might be onto sumthing

Couldn't it be a faulted coin? Mint errors do happen. And if it is the case, you might have found something worth a little fortune. I'm not expert in the matter, but some faulted coins can fetch truly absurd premiums, but it depend on the coin, the condition, the date, and most important on how "impressive" the defect is. Here since it's only impacting the edge don't expect a x100, but who knows..
You should definitely post it on numista, a dedicated fb group or forum and ask them about it.

Exactly. I always found it weird this kike popped out of fucking nowhere and all of a sudden he have deep connexions with all kind of people behind the curtains and billions USD ready to control the market.
And his controlled """bio""" and image he tries to shape online? A harmless nerdy boy from a modest jewish familyn loving the poors, the nature and the unicorns, trying to become ultra wealthy just to give it away afterward? Only a post-clownworld talmudic glow agency fueled by cocaine could set up something so fucking retarded.
They really think we are full blown trisomic, or they are openly mocking us.

Would be interdasting to do so digging about le nice kikerino. I bet my ass his parents are fucking glowniggers/psychiatrists with ties to the CIA/NSA.
