Sorry guys but with companies with REAL assets going bankrupt (as happened in 2008), I can't see a virtual coin doing well.

Seriously though, what are establishment financiers going to do when Bitcoin hits $1 billion? A lot of Bitcoin early adopters were edgy shitlord types who dress poorly and never went to elite schools. I get the feeling that the Wall Street types will not be willing to transfer power over to the new guard gracefully. Changes will have to be made. There'll be a transition. In the end though it will be mutually beneficial for everyone.

Why are there so many Bitcoin crashing threads up rn? From what I'm seeing the price has just hovering around the same level for months. It doesn't seem like the sky is falling to me--and I say this as a bear who is butthurt it's not way lower.

Has Bitcoin simply died its natural death, or is it being depressed by nefarious forces (e.g. shorters, government, illuminati etc)?

What went wrong?
