I’ve been able to camouflage myself and hide my power level for over a decade but I’m getting pissed. We men are not even considered and we’re only abused when it comes to hard work. Even I been a social chameleon have had enough.

my manager is too lazy to write emails so he assigned me to send emails on his behalf. Upper management loves this because I look like a pro-active and eager worker who is on always on top of everything. All the wagies from other departments hate me though because i'm just some asshole who keeps grilling them about not delivering their deadlines fast enough and pointing out their mistakes. In reality i don't actually give a fuck or have any control i'm just sending what my manager told me to write.

is it worse to be micromanaged or to be given shit instructions and not knowing what to do? My manager is the latter. Tells me he wants to get something done but provides instructions as to how to even begin. I have to run in circles figuring out how to navigate all these bullshit bureaucratic processes and go around begging other depts to help me do the needful. Everyone I ask I just get the same answer "lol not my job not my problem". I end up with everyone in the office hating me and my manager calling me useless for not being able finish his task.
