I think that, even if the system does go on for another couple of years, there won't be any way to suppress gold and silver for that long. There has been so much inflation done already that tens of trillions in Q. E. will be needed to suppress yields at this point. We also need trillions in money-printing to sustain everybody who is unemployed, and to bail out all the failing corporations. Economy can never get back to normal now, because that would require letting the system crash, and heal from all the inflation and mal-investment. The necessity for the U. S. to print tens of trillions of dollars makes a bond-market crash inevitable, and the Fed will soon be the only entity buying government debt. Rich people are going to demand delivery of enough physical gold and silver to break the COMEX long before that inevitability occurs.

The banks are trying to punish anybody who went long on gold and silver. They are trying to bankrupt those who pose a threat to the system. It's a sign of desperation, along with the tetherized crypto-pumping.
