What the fuck? I'm pissed. Am I wrong? I'm gonna be making over $400,000/year in a few years when I'm an attending physician, while she is stuck at $55K (or drops out entirely to be a stay at home mom). I'm very tempted to make her sign a post-nuptial agreement now that she has proved she's willing to be a lying Jew about money. I feel disrespected.

I don't really care because by "grad student" I meant medical student, and I matched into derm, the cushiest specialty of all. In 4 years, no matter what happens, I'll start taking in $420,000 per year to prescribe creams and look at rich naked people, while you may or may not still be waiting to "make it." I was smart enough to lock in a God tier plan B. Fuck OGs. I will buy a larger stack than most of them by brute force over the next 5 years.

US medfag here. I matched into dermatology this week. That means, after another 4 years of training (during which I will be making only $55K/year), I will start making ~$400,000/year. I can't even imagine what that kind of money feels like. My parents made like $70-100K combined growing up. My wife currently makes $55K/year for us. What can we expect?
