I think having guests makes it more desirable because you get the opportunity for discussion and not just 1 point of view. I would also consider if the video aspect is necessary if you were just going to talk? I suppose try both and see what you like. Also I dont personally use it but i've heard good things about rokfin as an alternative to youtube. It wont get the same traffic but you wont be subject to the random bullshit they put creators through.
