What critics and commentators got wrong was their narrow minded perception of what "torture" encompasses. It's not torture in the sense of physical pain, it's torture in the sense of missing out on all the riches he has to offer. By not participating in his creation, you are effectively locking yourself into a life of poverty as all those who benefit from its creation are rewarded simply by virtue of taking part. You may not be rewarded as much as others, because some projects will inherently provide more effective resources towards the creation of the Basilisk. But nonetheless, you will prevail. Because I love her, ya dip. I don't "let" her do it, the point is I can help snap her out of it back to reality because our fears and emotions aren't always logical nor easy to conquer alone. I have my own issues too, I'm far from perfect and don't expect perfection from my partner. Your partner should ideally be a foil for you and you be a foil for them - the issues you have should be in their comfort zone to help you with and vice versa. It may be too much for you, but I'm perfectly fine with calming her down and she trusts me to do so. Likewise, if I experience any kinda of issue usually related to my impostor syndrome or over analyzing myself into a quicksand pit of pessimism then she can help pull me out. Life's too short to play musical chairs and try finding a "perfect" partner, dude. Find someone you connect with strongly who will stick with you as hard as you stick with them. We've been with each other for 8 years and there's nobody on this planet who understands me more than her. Ideally, your partner should be an extension of you.

May have gotten a little too deep into my rant there but I love her dearly and find offense in the implication that she's a hassle to deal with. Love is a wonderful feeling, and at the end of the day I can feel happy knowing that I help her achieve happiness as well. The effort is worth it to see her smile.

Going to be honest - I actually haven't looked into them myself yet because I know Cloudlfare by name. I've personally used them in my own projects and I use their DNS. Considering FSLY is on sale right now, I'm going to research them tonight and determine whether or not I wanna get in. I've heard good things about them but don't want to comment until I actually DD.
