At this point they're probably neutral on both sides of the trade and are merely managing the price decline back to the double digits, all in order to prevent their original risk exposure from effecting the broader market more than it already has.
In other words, they got bailed out $3 billion then shorted at $480, bought back at $150 and washed rinsed repeated from there.
