JPM hands over a Treasury Bond to the Fed.
The Fed credits their liability to JPM's reserve account by the agreed price.

What can JPM then do with that reserve? it appears you're stating they can purchase what you have outlined below.

However those are for "normal" reserves, i.e. not created through the QE process.

Do you know if QE process reserves are treated any differently than "normal" reserves?
