I've been drinking for years... many years. I've had periods where I drank more or less than others, but after Chainlink my drinking went way up.

You just have to keep trying. And you have to have something that's more important... some obligation you have to fulfill, perhaps something that makes other people rely on you.

One thing that helps if you can be consistent is to take long walks at night. If you start drinking around 7, postpone that and go for a long walk at 8 or 9.

Call your mom/dad and ask them to pray for you. Tell a friend that doesn't know about your drinking that you're an alcoholic... remember the look in their eyes as they re-evaluate you. Ask a friend to call you every night at 8pm to check in.

Just keep trying.
