First what a recession is was redefined the day we go into one. Then the way inflation is calculated got changed right when it was most convenient. Then, the way the consumer price index was calculated was changed once again, right before the next report was supposed to come out. Sure is a whole lot of coincidences going on, I'm sure it's unrelated though.
