Because there's a lot of dumb people out there. Bitcoin is not the same because it's speculative, it's a currency for some, it's a hedge for some, it's the new gold for some, etc etc, and if there's buyers up there then that pretty much justifies its price.. as stupid as it sounds. But for a public company like GME that is suppose to sell products and prove it through earnings, it's just a straight up pump and dump. The people trying to justify it are people that are currently sitting on a trade and wants to at least sell for breakeven since they bought at/near the top
