> so after being in crypto for 3+ years, i'm down 15k or so of my own money mostly because of bitmex and i'm betting on xrp to bring me back

Not exactly rich, but well off and good with money/finances. My father recieved good money from his work, but was always out of money cuz he was a gambler and addict on card games. Meanwhile at home, we were always out of food and eated little variaty of food, the walls were full of mold, when it rained, we walls dripped hard. When he died, I recieved half of his salary for 6 years, and oh boy... I was still a great deal of money, it was inexcusable the way we lived with my dad getting is full salary. As I was getting that money, since I never had a financial education, I've spent that money on hookers, drugs, tattoos, CDs, metal concerts and food. I invested 0% of that money, thinking to myself that that money was cursed or something, since I was thinking about killing myself every single day. Well, I'm way more sawy with money now, when I make it, I know what not to do, but it's hard to forgive my dad even after his death. Someone had a similar experience? I think I had a very different life or a young man of my age.
