The only real bullish news lately were austrian government bonds being deployed as smart contracts, even then it's just a test and it's probably going to be replaced by EOS too

You don't even need to have a wallet to use EOS dapps, imbecile. The top dapp is an example of that.

Ethereum is the classical startup story:
- something completely new created, no competitors, takes the market by storm and surprise
- becomes big
- original founders turn out to be incompetent, the project has clearly become too big for them
- if they don't control the project they are let go, the project gets professional
- if they control the project it limps along, as external actors try to improve it despite incompetent founders

Ethereum is, clearly, the latest case. The protocol is barely changed since its inception, it's development has been turbulent with massive delays, and the newly minted multimillionaires spent years 'researching' with nothing to show for it.
After the absolute failure with hybrid PoS, most of sharding and PoS development now happens outside of core ethereum devs, even though ethereum 'devs' (especially Vitalik) get all the fame.

Ethereum is begging to be replaced by something, and as of now, it's closest competitor - EOS - has already established a solid dominance on dapps even though the mainnet is just 3 months old.
