Everyone is shellshocked and in some form of disbelief, denial, delusion, or anger. There was a mass migration to CT during 2021 where it’s copium chartposting and up-only cultism. A few of those come back to either fud for fun or delusionally hype the project. A massive faggot named bubbafox on Twitter is definitely in all of these threads. Most fudders here are one of about 5 bored or angry bagholders making bait threads.
So your general sentiment is correct: there is absolutely no traction in the bear market and these threads are full of the same 15 mentally ill “people” every single day. The high level discussion is gone because the CT cult won’t ever be critical of LINK, and any earnest discussion that gets started here immediately devolves into braindead shitflinging.
I’m in a generous mood so let’s be constructive today. There are 4 possible outcomes with LINK:
1. Crypto sees widespread adoption and LINK is adopted as the de facto oracle standard, the token is needed, and the value explodes.
2. Same as 1 but the token isn’t needed and the value of the LINK token plummets while the value of Chainlink explodes.
3. Crypto gets controlled by the same VC and MEV mafiosos and pumps and dumps artificially for a few more cycles before fizzling out.
4. Crypto crashes and burns all at once due to a black swan of extreme regulation, another FTX type scandal, or tradfi just abandoning it for some other solution.

Sergey at Consensus was extremely annoyed by the fact that option 3 is still such a threat. The CT fags hyped his talk up as somehow based (he’s scolding the bad actors!) but the reality is if there wasn’t a genuine threat of it happening for another decade he wouldn’t waste so much of his time on it. That to me was everything I needed to know about how to play the next cycle. He gave us so much information there about how little control he has over the future and what the space actually is and where adoption actually stands

Facts don't require belief, nothing has impacted crypto more then LINK. Now it's time to do the same to the rest of the world.

Here is a spoonfeed to any anon who can make it to the bottom of this shitshow of a thread:

1. Contracts exist for everything, ignore the Swift strawman entirely. Think of every single contractual agreement out there between businesses.
2. Those contracts are more secure if they are immutable because it minimizes trust. This is inarguable.
3. Smart contracts using blockchain tech represent the best existing model for creating immutable contracts.
4. The big issue is that most contracts rely on data that cannot be accessed on chain. They are “blind.”
5. Enter LINK DONS. If you need this explained to you, you had 5 years.
6. Adversarial parties across the entire spectrum of data-reliant contracts will choose decentralized oracles over centralized oracles because trust minimization. Simple as. OP does not understand the thinking of adversarial parties (or risk minimization, or legal thinking in general). The value prop is trust minimization via immutability and via decentralization… isn’t it convenient that those are the exact things OP says won’t be adopted by Swift? That is an utterly insane claim made by someone who is unaware they are sitting on one side of a table rather than someone who is zoomed out looking at the entire table.
7. The point is this tech is eventually going to be applied to almost every single high level contractual agreement you can think of because the value of trust minimization is sky high and the need for it is literally everywhere. It is so much bigger than Swift. It is world-changing technology. If you don’t have stack of Link you will ROPE in the coming years.

It’s clear that crypto on a macro level COULD be bearish or crabbish for a few years. Once staking is live and LINK is actually utilized, do you think it will be held down at these sub-$10 levels by the macro situation?

Lot's of pain here:

https://dune.com/ChainsightAnalytics/bancor-3-withdrawals-while-ilp-paused

I LOVEEEE TO SEE IT!

if BNT survives while the others lose, it's the best thing ever to happen in crypto. CEX, FUD and panicfags lose while le hodler wins.

There is a reason LINK ogs adopted BNT early, while Bancor has made several mistakes in this, they did not capitulate, they risked everything(Rep) to preserve the protocol to the benefit of small holders and it's looking like they continue to do so with the DAO. IF you have a small amount on bancor or less than half your LINK stack, I see no reason to panic now, #s are in and the big guys took the hit
