The price isn't going to get too much higher unless people start using it for day to day transactions. And they will. The plan is to hold till an economic rescession. It won't be quite like a depression because government knows in order to save it's ass they have to keep the lights on.

In modern times that means keepin' the internet runnin'. Why? Because these utilities keep people from gettin uppity and our modern system of credit and finance is transitioning towards an internet based system for handling POS services and other transactions, which they have to mantain to keep the economy going.

Now what you gonna use when the system breaks down? You ain't gonna have dollars to debit or credit once the system breaks... but there will be other forms of currency, like Bitcoin...That's where the money lies.

The economy will crash and there will be a brief period you can use Bitcoin to make transactions. Whether it's direct or you trade it for some other form of currency, you'll have it as a store of value until the economy recovers.
