Also torrent up a copy of "How to win friends and influence people" as a crash course in how not to be a sperg who pisses everyone off/creeps everyone out. Between those two things it's like finding the cheat code to life.

The weird thing is that when you hit that realization, being a sperg is actually an advantage when it comes to social skills, because unlike normals who just sort of float along never really thinking about anything at all, we can recognize the skills as skills, that can be levelled up, and then seek out the information we need to do that.

It takes time and practice to git gud at people, but it pays off almost literally every day of your life.
