why they would be trying to move ahead quickly, he didn't say. one can speculate that pressure is being exerted from above to get moving on their respective areas of influence, of which digital currency/DLT is one.

did anyone else catch how Gensler did a little knowing smirk when he was talking about how movement towards blockchain tech/digital currency/regulatory clarity can either come "from the legislative branch" or from regulators? reminded me of Tom Emmer's blockchain act that never made it out of committee.

about the stats: yeah, I think 1700 transactions might be FUD. i wonder if there's not a way to increase that number exponentially- multiple linked XRPLs working in parallel like Schwartz's original
1988 patent or something
