They work the same way as stocks. Looks like the bid/ask spread is 0.05, so there's someone that would sell you that put for 0.40 right now. If the stock goes up it might hit your limit buy and fill (option would get cheaper). Naked puts and calls typically are quicker to fill than spreads or multi-legs in my experience. The play here is for LCI to dip substantially over the next couple of weeks.
