he believed he could turn the Earth into a large conductor with energy fields creating rings around the planet like Saturn

"I wanted to illuminate the whole earth. There is enough electricity to become a second sun. Light would appear around the equator, as a ring around Saturn."

>It’s called cymatics
Cymatics is the study of visible sound and vibration, a subset of modal phenomena.
the paper there deals with unstable lightwave resonances
however the overlap between sound waves and light is immediately intuitive
here's a copy-pasta I did about light waves defining the geometry of time in much the same way standing waves on a membrane create geometric patterns at specific resonant frequencies

Sound can be encoded as geometries and symbols as illustrated in the video below:
https://youtu.be/wvJAgrUBF4w
As shown in the video, symbols can be used to represent sounds and sounds can be used to represent symbols (geometries)

In much the same way light waves create the geometry of time through which we perceive motion as shown in the tesseract scene of interstellar (pic related)
https://youtu.be/TMxJnoPOFkg
You can (visualize) what it would (look) like if you could move through time as if it were another temporal dimension

It would be a kaleidoscope of fractals with you in the center and your whole field of view would be filled with slices of space in distinct times that you could move through similar to this picture

notice that the separate slices of time in that scene of the tessereact in interstellar are bound by light beams
light bounds time, in an analogous manner to the sound waves on the drum bounding the geometrical patterns we see

if you haven't seen this experiment, it might be interesting for you

http://news.mit.edu/2011/trillion-fps-camera-1213
https://youtu.be/EtsXgODHMWk
https://youtu.be/7Ys_yKGNFRQ

back in 2011 they had achieved 1 trillion frames per second
recently they have now achieved 10 trillion frames per second

it's interesting to see because it helps visualize how light propagates in 4 dimensions (3 spacial and 1 temporal)

>I know you had it in a thread, could you link it too?
it's scattered now but there's a bunch of copy/pasta that I've produced regarding these ideas

for example:

Sound can be encoded as geometries and symbols as illustrated in the video below:
https://youtu.be/wvJAgrUBF4w
As shown in the video, symbols can be used to represent sounds and sounds can be used to represent symbols (geometries)

But for a formal education I would recommend studying Maxwell's book (Matter & Motion)

>So you’ve seen past the 6th cave?
I've always been told to be patient

I'd like to hear your thoughts about this concept I've been working on regarding the nature of geometry:
