But the 1000 1% profits thing is still workable. It's just to show the power of compound interest and why it is better to be safe and take profits early.

I just bitmex so if you limit sell you get a maker rebate, instead of a hefty market fee you get a tiny bit of profit for adding liquidity to the market.
