Maybe. Only one way to find out. I cap any single trade at 33% of account's value and never have more than 66% of account value invested at any given time. Also have no problem cutting losses if anything goes down by 20% (happened once so far) and moving on to the next trade. So it's hard to imagine that being the case. Now I try to get really deep into the community of a coin, and read up on the developer and what he's doing. If there isn't enough info for me to decide, than I don't buy. I've learned my lesson on jumping the gun too many times.

Research also can't just be trying to find buzzwords in the whitepaper. You have to understand how things work.

Best case scenario is when you can actually contribute to the success of the project, like getting in on the marketing team or Dev team. Then you actually have some control over the success of the project and will likely have access to info the public doesn't have.
