the furry fandom also has a negative connotation (and you'd be drawing porn on top of that) significantly reducing the pool of furry porn artists

As a result, furry porn artists can make >6 figures/yr due to the high price they can charge, in contrast to more generic "anime" art, where there's a pool of thousands of people willing to draw cute anime girls like Monika doing cute things for $20-50
