I need the advice of internet strangers who probably don't have my best interest in mine.

My tax situation is sort of complicated. I moved states for a job after graduating, but still got my W2 for my paid internship from the school.

I also cashed out some stock, which may or may not end up being long term capital gains bc the account became only solely in my name near the start of this year, it was both mine and my mother's before then.

Then that brings us to crypto, which I obviously had heavy losses in. I didn't make many trades and thankfully have records of my transactions but it looks like it will still be a nightmare putting that shit into TurboTax. I can get all this done professionally at a good accounting firm for around $500, or try and struggle through it myself. Do you think it's worth it or not?

Thanks anon. Things have been pretty shit for my family lately, so this would be incredibly helpful. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you.
