I know what you mean, but I think many on /biz/ are not realizing there is a middle ground.

Pleb savings vs. $5-10 million dollars is a false dichotomy. There is a middle ground where you have $1-2 million dollars, but you do work not for paying the bills but either because it is something you enjoy doing or to just get more capital.

My plan is to reach a million and then work on something I am passionate about. There is a significant difference in mindset once you have fuck you money and you're no longer working to pay the bills.

I work for a US contractor that deals a lot US government procurement software. A lot of it as you say interfaces with platforms related to government procurement (FedBizOpps, Grants.Gov, the new SAM.gov) and these platforms do offer web services.

But how is Chainlink positioned to use these? I mean in the general sense I suppose, since these are APIs, but I am failing to come up with a use case for smart contracts in the government procurement industry
