Looking for a little advice on buying American Gold Eagles from Craigslist. I came across an ad for someone a few hours away selling a total of three 2014 and four 2020 1/10th ounce Eagles at $215 each. That's somewhat better than what you can currently buy the 2020s for on JM Bullion ($233). Is this a good deal? How can I protect myself from getting ripped off? Are fakes a concern?
