In your opinion, is it better to buy now and hold the L on interest rates and refinance later OR buy later and hope when interest rates come down house prices don't go nuts?

Anybody interested in this? It's live now. I signed up for the hell of it and will probably be watching it during the weekend. The Networking section where you just meet & greet somebody else would be pretty interesting (as a newbie investor) but I'm also bloody terrified of trying that out

How exactly is a leveraged ETF valued? It trades on an exchange, so is the ETF's value:

1) mathematically determined, by something like
ETF(t) = ETF(t-1)*Leverage*Underlying(t)/Underlying(t-1)

2) determined by supply and demand?

so if the SP500 drops 3%, does SPXS automatically drop 9% as per some price-determination algorithm? If so how does bid/ask even work?

>owing money on a bet that's more than the ticket cost
Wait, what? I'm a complete noob here but I thought you pay to place a bet - that's the ticket. Then you either win and get more money or just lose the cost of the ticket. How the fuck do you end up owing money on top of the ticket cost?

>theres a reason why eSports are on the rise
eSports are better adapted to the contemporary audience (internet streams instead of television) and have a completion-based set of victory conditions rather than a time-based set. For example, a football or divegrass match even between two top teams can be 90 minutes of boring non-action which leaves everybody disappointed, because only when the clock is through do the players go home. A Dota or CSGO match will ONLY end after a certain amount of action, a certain amount of kills or destroyed buildings. The worst eSports match will always be 1000* better than the worst divegrass game for this reason alone.

>the military is actively recruiting the most non-life Call of Duty nerds in public US high schools
The military has always recruited the drifters and losers out of public schools, with CoD they can guarantee they have losers with violent fantasies who are gonna be really passionate about the guns and callsigns.

Anyone here have experience with patreon or the aforementioned form?

I'm thinking about creating a patreon page for some of the suprisingly normal depraved shit I make. I don't expect to make any more than a few dozen bucks at best, and it's more of a one-time thing. Basically I need new tools which are moderately expensive and every dollar helps.
Issue being, I'm not usaian and I need to provide tax information. Besides the point that taxation is theft and I would need a tax lawyer to navigate through the mess, I rather not link my real identity with my artistic one. They also ask for stuff I simply can't provide because it doesn't exist in my country.

What consequences does providing false information to patreon and the IRS carry if you are a foreign national and only earn peanuts (under 900$/year in the US I believe). I read patreon keeps all the papers and the only thing that matters is whether you are a foreigner or not. Heck, I would even be fine with being taxed by uncle Sam as long as I can keep it anonymous.

I guess this thread could also be useful for fledgling artists who want to dive into all the furfag money without being branded.

I got lucky and had some of my artwork go viral, so now I'm a D-list internet artist who gets a good amount of commissions. I only make like $100 a month from them though, plus the $20 I make on Patreon. I could easily make more, issue is lack of time and interest. I really want to take a part-time job to support myself while prioritizing commissioned work and building my exposure. I've realized the working world isn't worth being a part of. It's just something I "have to do" at this point. I only feel energy towards drawing and give it way more thought than my career.

What's the easiest and most stress-free job, minimum 20-30k a year, I can get? I have a bullshit non-STEM degree and some generic office experience.
