Any other anons travel for work? I am being offered a job that is about 1 week of travel out if the month, and working from home the rest of the time and I'm afraid to take it. I'm 27 and due to marry my gf soon and it seems like it could make life hard

It depends on how you look at the numbers. For example reduced carbon mandate - nuclear is a decent option and would require higher mining output. But if you believe the mandate could be met with wind and solar then you don’t need nuclear at all. It’s FUD on all sides and the way it will go isn’t written yet. There are exciting developments in small modular reactors that could be bullish for nuclear. Fusion would make nuclear completely obsolete but is probably 50-100 years away. It’s not just about being smart or dumb there’s too much up in the air to know.
