I'm pretty sure remote viewing is when you can view something from a perspective you wouldn't normally be able to. Like visualizing the goings on at your house while you're away. Or the military used it to view enemy movements in a trench.

It works, it's fascinating, but it's done to view the present. Not the future. So OP is probably definitely full of shit. At the very least what you're doing is some kind of "foresight" or future-telling. Prediction, tarot whatever. Calling it remote viewing is misleading.
