I've found a few gold pickers but I don't get out into nuggety country enough, the Greens in Australia have made it a pain in the ass for prospectors over the years so anywhere close to home is off-limits. Gonna visit some family in Adelaide over Christmas so I'll probably do a bit of prospecting up in the hills, have seen a few specimens pulled out there over the years. Can't remember if you need a different prospecting license for SA though (guessing not much of this means much to an American).

I've got a little bag of US junk silver I found when I was in Hawaii, nicest thing was a 68 half dollar. Was actually quite surprised with Hawaii, I thought I'd find more jewelry on the beach but ended up with junk silver, who would have thought?
