why does no one but me ever talk about using the VIX to time dip buying? and this is during a bear market, mind you, and it still works.

anyone got any other indicators worth looking at? not chart indicators but shit like the VIX vs. certain stocks or indices? i wish someone made a chart of something like CPI data or Fed interest rate changes vs. the SPY or various pieces of news on current events and matching them up with how the market reacted and looking for correlations, shit like that. if there are any youtube channels or websites that focus on that sort of stuff i'd love to hear about them. but either way, i highly recommend researching the VIX more if you haven't already.
