if there is 1 thing that has any value, and is actually used and is being useful, no matter the scalability or price, it's a fucking working secure decentralized oracle.
any fucking project that gets shat every day, is complete garbage without an oracle, chainlink doesn't need any fucking real-world adoption to become huge, since it's powering this whole meme billions $ space, it will naturally grow no matter what, usage can only go up, and chainlink can only deliver more products, they started as a simple decentralized oracle, now chainlink are solving big problems like scalability (tsigs), anonymity (DECO + TC), Randomness (VRF), L2 and much more...

Ari juels officially became head of chainlink research, and they are working on the whitepaper v2, which will focus precisely on scaling chainlink.
