Does the mid in a bid-ask spread usually get exercised? Im bearish on BYND and want to do bearish call spreads (ex: sell $17 call, buy $20 call). However, the spread is quite large (see pic).

If you look at the pic if I sold $17 strike bid of 0.38 and bought $20 strike ask of 0.40 I would lose money. However the mid prices I would make $36.

In other words, if I make a bearish call spread @ mid prices in this very wide bid-ask spread will it generally get exercised? Or will it sit and not be exercised? Could also be a pain if only one leg gets exercised and the other does not.
