There are only 2 factors that matter in GME's final price: What the average holder will sell for and what hedge funds and their backers are able to pay. Whichever number is lower is what the price will end up being.
I think people here are underestimating the viral growth this meme will have had over the weekend. Normies and boomers will be flocking to this thing late, out of greed or spite or both. Too many holders won't sell for anything less than $1,000 and I believe this is the lowest reasonable estimate for the endgame price. Many, many people will get greedy and hold higher than 1k because they bought in at $300 and want a moon.
So what about what the hedge funds and their backers? I believe any logical analysis indicates that the tiny amount hedge funds are worth won't be nearly enough to cover the squeeze. I also believe that even the banks that back them won't be worth enough, and even if they are they'll want to get bailed out by the government to avoid responsibility. So, if we take it as a given that they'll be bailed out, how much is on the table? In 2008 the government ended up giving out around $500 billion in bailouts. I highly doubt they will spend more on fucking Gamestop. Many haven't considered that the media will be able to turn the American people against GME investors if they explain it will cost anything close to $1 trillion, even if it means punishing the 1%.
