I realized it was a scam the moment I read about it.

Reputation farming is when you create fake orders to your own data source to farm reputation for your own nodes. Even if it's not possible to select your own nodes (eg. by specific a source only they accept) if you control the data source you can select by ip.
This kills the idea of one reputation value per node - at best a node could have distinct reputations per data source.

Chainlink is unironically heading to $2.50. I just want to say congratulations to all the link marines.

Decentralization is a meme when it comes to apis from centralized sources. Heck you can say I want a interest rate from 2 sources with 4 nodes but its overkill and everyone knows it.
