I mean, you're right as far as correlation not being causation. But if we're going to talk logical fallacies, your counter was an actual anecdote. I don't mean to be a cock, but your example was people you know. Also, here's statistics. Saging because this is off topic.

Cryptocurrency is a meme that is far overhyped by people who believe they're way smarter than they actually are.

Options are where it's at

Yes, they made sure to preserve their teachings, but also were guilty of also controlling knowledge and suppressing thought for profit. Christianity was turned as a weapon against man, and it's censored teachings lead humanity backwards instead of forwards.

Eh, I'm not religious and have no personal ties to any religion.

What's the key to networking? I live close to a very rich area where essentially everyone is a millionaire. The cheapest homes are 500k. I am thinking of joining the local golf club, becoming a Freemason since there is a lodge in the neighborhood, and attending a local church. Do you think this would get me decent business connections? Any ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be illegal to have a human digest coffee beans and then sell the coffee online? I thought of doing it as a prank on eBay, but was thinking about the condition our society is in and how retarded humans are, that it could actually catch on and be a marketable thing.

Also, there's a lot of WW3 tin foil hatters going around wanting to learn survival and SHTF scenarios. How much could I sell alcohol stoves made out of soda cans for on Etsy? Could I put a bunch of dead leaves and stuff and a match in a plastic baggie, and make money selling it as an emergency fire starter kit? Also, what about selling single trash bags? They have a ton of uses and could be easily marketed.
