Contrary to the other anons here, options aren't all higher risk plays. If you play option strategies instead of just naked options, you can actually define your risk and potential reward fairly well. You can even make money when the market crabs.

As an example, here's a butterfly on TQQQ at 113/110/107. If I believed that TQQQ would be rangebound from 107 to 113.25, I could make up to a little over $500.

There's a few good resources for learning about them, I'd recommend the tastyworks guides though.

And for the love of god, don't trade anything you don't absolutely understand.
