I got started in crypto this year and have basically only invested in solana and some L2s/3s based on suggestions from people I trust in RL.
Started going on /biz/ this August when there was a little shitcoin pump, and this whole time I've never once seen a Solana thread until last week when I started making them. Those threads introduced me to the fact that SBF and FTX were heavily involved in Solana's early days, and how now there is still issues with the distribution of the coin.
Fast forward to today and there's like 8 Solana threads, each of them more scammy-sounding than the last and it's making me nervous. I've made a lot of money on solana, is it really just going to get rugged? Or are the retarded scam-sounding threads just an effect of the coin pumping hard today?

I started off the year buying solana because it was cheap, but over time I've become convinced that it will become the next coin to hit $1k during the bullrun.
Right now I do nothing but staking but yield farming is interesting. Tell me what you guys do with your Solana

Realistically speaking, what's stopping me from swapping my ETH for SOL?

Holding BTC or ETH is going to give me 4 or x5 max. Holding SOL would give me the same Xs while also having actual chances of pulling a crazy reversal x10 or even x20.
I am not saying it WILL happen, but holding SOL actually gives me a chance of that happening, which is a net positive for pro-solana arguments.
