I got a new job, and for the first time in my life I'm making real money. How would you recommend I invest it?

I know literally nothing about finance. I don't want to have to actively be involved in buying and selling stuff all the time, and watching the market, Ideally I just want to put X% of each paycheck into some investments and not touch it for a long time. High risk high reward is ok, as long as it doesn't require constant attention and stressing over when to buy and sell.

im starting to learn that it is impossible to just save money and the more money you have the more time you spend managing it.
