You're correct that it was a (rare) case of a rising tide or tsunami in this case, lifting all ships: the industrial revolution, the unique economic-military position of the USA, its scripted role in the Capitalism vs Communism farce, and its then-emergent role as world-policeman for Zionism/Jewry
