Metals should go up because today's dollar strength index (DXY) is being held up by a flimsy excuse of a "new" (not really it was known and practiced since March) COVID "treatment" (that has conflicting studies saying it either works or not, or it works in a limited basis or it works only temporarily and virus comes back in strength) that was announced by Trump today. Also his typical "vaccine soon" announcement hope pump. Even if the vaccine comes out today the damage to the economy is already done.

Not to mention that if the economy improves and runs again it will be massive inflation anyways from entities spending again.
