imagine a world where every L1 is connected seamlessly and effortlessly. you barely even know what L1 you are using. that is chainlink

There's a lot of talk these days about focus moving back to the application layer, after the last period has been completely dominated by infrastructure talk, mainly around L2s, bridging and cross-chain.
But honest question, how the fuck are you supposed to build applications when the infrastructure changes this quickly? If you'd started to build a DeFi 1.0 competitor during DeFi summer it would already be obsolete, especially if you were building on a meme alt-l1. How do you start a project now, knowing that in 6 months or a year, shit like CCIP will completely change your approach to liquidity, chain selection, bridging etc. How do you build around that when not only are things so uncertain, but it's impossible to predict exactly how they will play out?
It's like if one year we just had horses and carts, the next year we had cars, then the next year spaceships. How do you design a product in that space when it will be obsolete the moment it launches?
