But seriously, I graduated in 2016 and things are already wildly different. I was renting a nice apartment in a fancy part of town in Ohio for $1000/mo out of school. That same apartment is now $1500. Crypto helped me get into a house in 2018 and I sold that last year for a 50% gain. I truly feel sorry for grads and low-wage employees these days.

You need to have an edge on the market and reduce your emotions. In the day of frontrunning bots, it's difficult to trade on very short intervals. Swing trading large market cycles in crypto is feasible. If BTC goes to 150000, it's a good time to average out and average back in at 50000.
But I generally agree with the advice of most people who say to buy and hold an asset where you're highly convicted. Buy & hold is also low maintenance. Are you going to make more money trading than through buy & hold?
